In early November, the State Environmental Inspectorate of Ukraine in Zaporozhye region tested Dniprospetsstal to meet the environmental requirements in the field of air, land and water resources, waste management and hazardous chemicals.

DSS units in general showed a high level of compliance with environmental standards. Our company performs the production control over air, carries instrumental laboratory measurements of emissions of pollutants from stationary sources, and determines the efficiency of the gas treatment facilities. Also underway we support the smooth operation facilities and equipment in good repair for emissions cleaning, steadily declining level of influence of the physical and biological factors of pollutants on the environment.

It's okay for us and in the management of water resources. Our company strictly adheres to the legislation, fulfills the law of Ukraine "About environmental protection".

– Of course, the inspection revealed some minor violations - said the chief ecologist of Dneprospetsstal Anatoly Pannik. - There are only 14 and we are already working on getting it fixed.
